2012

Leith Churches Holiday Club 2012 (16-20 July) had a great week, with over 60 children and a wonderful volunteer team from different churches in Leith.  The Olympic theme resulted in some excellent art and craft work (eg. Olympic torches and miniature athletes) and the drama proved popular too!  Click on the link to read more and see some photos.  Leith Churches Holiday Club 2012

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland have launched a social networking site to mark the beginning of the 2011 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  Rev. Bob Fyffe, General Secretary of CTBI, hopes that ‘this will be an interactive space that will resource and strengthen the work of local Churches Together groups.  It’s a good example of being ‘More Together, Less Apart’.  For more details, click on the website www.churchestogetherconnect.org.

Easter Card Competition 2012.  This year Jennifer asked some of the children in various LCT churches to design our Leith Churches Together Easter card.  They produced some great artwork which we were able to display during Holy Week in the entrance hall of Ocean Terminal.  The winning design was by Andrew Clark of Ebenezer UF Church.  Congratulations to Andrew, and thanks to all the children and adults who helped.   Click on the link to see some pictures.  Easter@ Ocean Terminal 2012
