For some years, Leith Churches Together has supported two main outreach programmes in Leith. The Port Chaplaincy is a partnership between LCT and the Sailors’ Society, who, since 2006, have employed Tim Bell as the Port Chaplain for Leith and Hound Point. The Ocean Terminal project began shortly after Ocean Terminal opened in 2001. The current project leader, Jennifer Stark, is full-time and took up post in April 2010.
In addition, LCT works to enable regular joint worship and other events, such as the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, and the Leith Churches Holiday Club (see our Youth Work page).
